Cha’s death is the third inside three months of a young South Korean performer. In October, outspoken 25-year-old singer Sulli died shortly after leaving a note that hinted at depression. Last week, 27-year-old K-pop star Goo Hara was found dead at her home in Seoul.

Cha In Ha Career

Born in 1992, Cha In Ha debuted in 2017 through the short film “You, Deep Inside of Me” and was a member of Fantagio’s second actor group SURPRISE U. He starred in the web drama “Miss Independent Jieun 2” and television dramas including “Degree of Love,” “Wok of Love,” “Are You, Human, Too?,” “Clean with Passion for Now,” and “The Banker.” His newest drama “Love with Flaws” premiered on November 27.

Furthermore, he was part of MBC’s new drama, Love With Flaws, which stars Ahn Jae Hyun and Oh Yeon Seo. The production team has also released a short statement. “We are trying to get an understanding of the situation right now.”
