Scott Allie
Scott Allie is the former editor-in-chief of Dark Horse Comics, writer, and editor. He began his editing career with Mike Mignola’s Hellboy in 1994, helping to expand the line to include dozens of titles with a wide array of writers and artists.
After Joining he served as co-writer on B.P.R.D., Abe Sapien, and other titles. Then, Scott He edited Joss Whedon’s 2001 comics debut, Fray, and has worked with Whedon on many other titles, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight, as both writer and editor.
In 1994, he joined Dark Horse Comics as an editor and then promoted to editor-in-chief in October 2012, and named executive senior editor in September 2015. Being a writer he wrote the four-issue miniseries The Devil’s Footprints in 2003 and started writing the miniseries Solomon Kane in 2008.
Furthermore, he wrote stories for BPRD, on which he collaborated with Mike Mignola, and began writing stories for Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 9 in 2012. Later, he then became the lead writer of the ongoing series Abe Sapien with Mike Mignola in 2013.
However, he announced that we would leave the company to continue his career in comics as a freelance editor and writer in September 2017, then he even wrote BPRD: The Devil You Know with Mike Mignola.
For his achievement, he was named Editor Guest of Honor at the 2012 World Horror Convention. Curently, he has been accused of sexual assault by another former editor, Shawna Gore.

Former editor, Shawna Gore took to Twitter on June 24 to detail abuse she said she suffered at Allie’s hands over many years, including an incident in 1999.
After her allegation, Dark Horse Comics posted the statement to Twitter with the caption: “We believe Shawna Gore. Effective immediately, Dark Horse Comics will not be working with Scott Allie now or in the future. We apologize to fans, creators, and employees for all the damage and hurt Scott has caused.”

Gore wrote a lengthy letter on Twitter, she captioned the post “I have decided to come forward with my own experience of abuse in the comics industry. I am not the one at fault and the shame I have felt is not mine to carry.
I was assaulted, harassed, and retaliated against by Scott Allie during our tenure at Dark Horse.”

Earlier, Scott was accused of groping and biting one individual and engaging in other questionable behavior at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con International convention in San Diego. However, he issued a statement apologizing for unspecified behavior.
