The 21-year-old Polish woman made headlines when she claimed to be McCann, who vanished from Portugal in May 2007 while on vacation.
Wandelt, who also goes by the names Wendell and Faustyna, created the Instagram profile iammadeleinemcann where she publishes articles to support her assertions. She claimed that she shared McCann’s physical characteristics.
Wandelt apparently made the decision to work towards that after some online investigators recently stated that she resembled Schepp, who vanished in 2011 along with her 6-year-old twin sister Alessia. According to Dr. Fia Johansson, a psychic and private investigator assisting the young woman in her case.
The parents of Madeleine McCann have finally agreed to perform a DNA test for Julia Faustyna, a Polish lady who thinks she is their daughter because she resembles the missing infant remarkably.
