Pam Tork is popularly known as the wife of American musician and actor, Peter Tork (real name is Peter Halsten Thorkelson). Recently, on February 21, 2019, the 77-year-old Music star, has passed away after being diagnosed with a rare tongue cancer 10 years ago.
On Thursday, February 21, the Monkees singer died at the age of 77 slipping away peacefully. The news of this death was confirmed by his sister, Anna Thorkelson. However, his sibling did not give any clarity on the cause of his death, and it is known that he was diagnosed with rare cancer during 2009 that affected his tongue and it seems to be the reason behind the actor’s death.

His family has said in a statement that, “We are all saddened to share that news that Peter – a friend, philosopher, husband, father, goofball, grandfather, entertainer- died peacefully this morning at a family home which is in Connecticut. He succumbed to a 10-year bout, a rare cancer of the salivary glands.”
The Bandmate Mickey Dolenz has posted on Twitter: “There are no words at the moment…. Heartbroken over the loss of my Monkee brother, Peter Tork.” Recently, Peter celebrated his 77th birthday last Wednesday and fortunately he was survived by his fourth wife Tork and his children, Erica Marie, Ivan Joseph Iannoli and Hallie Luia Tork. From the reports, it is known that Pam and her husband were last reported living in Connecticut at the time of his death.
