It was Miss Helotes, it’s a small town outside San Antonio … I got so many different opportunities from just that one smalltown experience that by the time my year [reign] was up, I was like, ‘I have to do this again! I have to keep going.”

Before winning her title she even competed in the 2014 competition and was placed second runner up and in 2015 and 2016 was a nonfinalist. Then, in 2019 she won the pageant and later in the same year she competes in the 2019 Miss USA pageant, though she did not advance out of the preliminary competitions.
