Bruna Macedo

Bruna Macedo is the CNN reporter and serving as a Video reporter. Since October 2019 Bruna is working with CNN Brasil and also served with Successful TV Entrepreneurs, RecordTV Paulista, and Record TV, Endemol Brazilian Shine.

Recently, Bruna was attacked by a homeless man in a terrifying moment caught live on air. She was reporting on rising water levels from heavy rain at Sao Paulo’s Bandeiras Bridge when the suspect is seen in the background crossing the bridge and after two minutes the man appears next to her.

Initially, she first greets the suspect as Colombo continues to talk about the water levels. But he then pulls a knife on the reporter but luckily she wasn’t injured. The man then flees the scene, leaving behind the terrified reporter.

In the Incidense, she hands over a mobile phone to him and subsequently handed over a second phone before the attacker fled the scene.

Career

Bruna Macedo started her career as Intern at Brazil Communication Agency and her role was “Radio listening and verification of the helicopter that covered facts for the police newspapers Cidade Alerta, from RecordTV, and Brasil Urgente, from Rede Bandeirantes (always live). Writing for the variety magazine AquiVip! Production of television program boards for RedeTV !, and institutional video recording.”

From September 2017 to September 2018, Bruna served as Logger at Endemol Brazilian Shine. Then, in May 2011, she joined Record TV as Head of reporting and served there until October 2018. Furthermore, Bruna was News Reporter at RecordTV Paulista and Successful TV Entrepreneurs.

Curently, she is serving as VideoReporter at CNN Brazil since October 2019. Bruna has an Instagram account and has 4.5k followers.
