Caroline Flack was born on November 9, 1979, and from Enfield, London, England. She was an English radio and television presenter who began her career as an actress, starring in Bo’ Selecta! in 2002 and has since presented various ITV2 spin-off shows such as I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW! from 2009 until 2010 and The Xtra Factor from 2011 until 2013.

On Feb15th she was found dead inside her London apartment and her family released the following statement “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February. We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.” She is survived by her parents, Christine and Ian, brother Paul, and sisters Elizabeth and Jody.

Flack’s death comes just weeks before she was due to go on trial for assaulting partner Lewis Burton, who in December accused her of hitting him with a lamp before backtracking on these claims. Yesterday, the model and tennis player posted a picture of him and Flack on Instagram and wrote: ‘Happy Valentine’s… Love You.’

His heartfelt snap followed an announcement by Flack that she was about to break her silence about her troubled personal life. On Thursday she wrote: ‘I’m going to speak today… mine and my family’s life is no longer up for entertainment or gossip,’ before changing her mind.

She began her career as an actress, appearing in Bo’ Selecta!, before going on to present a number of shows including Big Brother’s Big Mouth. Later, she hosted Gladiators in 2009 – taking over from Kirsty Gallacher – alongside Ian Wright and also presented I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here NOW!.

Then, in 2011 she presented The Xtra Factor with Olly Murs and later Matt Richardson before later hosting the main show in 2015 to replace Dermot O’Leary. After he returned to the show, Caroline took on her biggest role as presenter of Love Island the same year, fronting one of ITV’s biggest home-grown hits.
