Fionn Whitehead was born on July 18, 1997, in Richmond, UK. He is an English Actor who is best known for playing the lead role in ‘Dunkirk’ film by Christopher Nolan. Recently the NETFLIX Bandersnatch star Fionn has confessed that the Black Mirror film could have ended up even darker by revealing violent knife scene that was cut from the film.
In an Interview with The Huffington Post, he revealed that: “There were some things that I’m (Fionn) actually… not disappointed, but annoyed it didn’t make it in.” He found the concept very interesting. Fionn stated that there was a particular choice point that didn’t make it in,”

The young actor has completed his schooling from Orleans Parks School and later Fionn Whitehead joined Richmond College and earned his degree. Fionn has also done the summer acting course at National Youth Theatre. He is the son of Tim Whitehead (Father), a Jazz musician and Linda Whitehead (Mother). Fionn also has three siblings who are older than him.

During his childhood, Whitehead dreamt of becoming a break-dancer and a Rugby player. He has also taken guitar lessons as a hobby. He grew up in an artistic background since his young age. When he was 13 years old, he began his acting at Orange Tree Theatre during his school days.
Initially, he was working at a coffee shop in the Waterloo district and later got an opportunity to starred in the ITV drama miniseries, ‘Him’ in 2016.
He got a big break from his appearance as Christopher Nolan in the film ‘Dunkirk’ in 2017. Later he appeared in another Drama film ‘The Children Act’ opposite Stanley Tucci and Emma Thompson.
Recently, Fionn also starred in the Black Mirror: Bandersnatch TV series as a lead character, Stefan Butler. His upcoming movie, ‘Roads’ is all set for its release in 2019.
