On Instagram, she shared the picture of her son and captioned “On Jan 7 my beautiful son died. He was 27 and had the world at his feet. But sadly he struggled with mental illness and addiction. A brilliant spark shone brightly too short time .. Many fans are heartbroken after his death and one user wrote “Harry was my best friend. He was always there for me and he always brought love and light into my life. All the memories I have of him make me laugh so hard. He was such a great soul and person. He was a star that lite up any room he was in. He had an aura about him that everyone was drawn too! I love him and I love you. I took today off so please let me know if you need anything.”

His final Instagram post showed him and a friend celebrating the New Year. He wrote: “To 2020! ‘The new era has already begun. A memorial service for the actor will take place at Hollywood Forever on Sunday (January 12) in Los Angeles at 3 pm.

He is an actor and producer, known for The Surface (2015), American Horror Story (2011) and The OA (2016).

Hains was in one episode of “American Horror Story” and has also had parts in TV series “Sneaky Pete” and “The OA.” He played more prominent roles in independent movies and starred in the 2014 thriller “The Surface.”

Hains was raised in Melbourne, Australia before he moved to the US to pursue an acting career. As well as acting he also performed as a musician under the moniker ANTIBOY.
