On Sunday she was there in her Ex-Boyfriend Gold Coast home and Detective Acting Superintendent Brendan Smith said: “Something has happened that’s resulted in her being shot in the chest.”

Few hours before she was shot dead Ivona was watching the sunlight fade over the ocean at Burleigh Beach and played with her dog. A crime scene has been established at the address and police have asked anyone who saw anything suspicious or has CCTV or dashcam vision to contact police.

During this Police believe there were several people inside the Highland Park home at the time of the shooting. Detective Acting Superintendent Brendan Smith said Ms. Jovanovic’s ex-partner returned to the home on Renfrew Drive several hours after the shooting and was arrested. According to Abc.Net.Au.

On Sunday about 7.30pm, she uploaded her photo and video of her dog on Instagram. But on 8.30pm, she was dead at her Ex-Boyfriend’s home and curently, he had been arrested and the investigation is under process.

Acting Superintendent Smith said, “She wasn’t in that residence alone, there were several people there and by the time police arrived those people had decamped.” Many people tributed on social media and user wrote.

“I can’t believe the news I saw this morning, we grew up together and my heart breaks for you and your family and friends. Rest In Peace too young and beautiful.”

The go-fund page has been set up by her sister Annette Jovanovic and till now $9,175 has been raised (September 9). “Fundraising towards the tragic death of my beautiful sister, she was fatally shot in the chest with not a chance to survive. Any donation made towards Ivona’s funeral and memorial will be the biggest help for my family and me.”
