He is the Spouse of Kelly Loeffler and she is an American businesswoman and politician who is the United States Senator-designate for Georgia. She is also the chief executive officer (CEO) of Bakkt, a subsidiary of commodity and financial service provider Intercontinental Exchange, and the co-owner of the Atlanta Dream in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
On December 4, 2019, she was selected as the successor to incumbent Senator Johnny Isakson. In November 2019, Loeffler applied to succeed incumbent Senator Johnny Isakson, who had announced his resignation from the United States Senate, effective December 31, for health reasons, after being re-elected in 2016.
However, she is planning to run for a full term in the 2020 election and has pledged to spend a substantial amount of her own money on the campaign.
