Browning was duped into deleting his own YouTube account by scammers posing as YouTube support workers on July 26, 2021. Four days later, his channel was reopened. In a video, he revealed how the fraudster utilized Google Chat to send a phishing email from the “google.com” domain, convincing Browning to delete his channel under the guise of transferring it to a new YouTube brand account.
