Kirill Shamalov, aka Kirill Nikolayevich Shamalov, is a Russian businessman and the ex-son-in-law of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Lately, the billionaire former son-in-law of Vladimir Putin has flown to Dubai for an extravagant 40th birthday party, escaping Russia’s sanctions suffering.
Sanctioned Kirill Shamalov, who was previously married to Katerina Tikhonova, 35, the Russian president’s second daughter, has caused a stir by traveling to the United Arab Emirates with the affluent daughter of an FSB general. Shamalov, Russia’s youngest billionaire, is currently dating Anastasia Zadorina, the 33-year-old daughter of an FSB secret services general who was instrumental in Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
Zadorina is claimed to have celebrated her partner’s birthday at Dubai’s Burj Al Arab tower, which is a far cry from Moscow’s sanctions doom. From 2013 to 2018, Shamalov was married to Putin’s daughter Katerina Tikhonova for five years. He had purchased a substantial portion of shares in Sibur, a major Russian oil, and petrochemical processor, within 18 months of their wedding.
Shamalov was the Russian government’s previous economic adviser. Following his marriage to Katerina, the Russian entrepreneur began a romance with Zhanna Volkova, a 44-year-old London-based investor. After riding through the worst of the pandemic together, they split up last year, with divorce hearings purportedly held in secret in Moscow.
How Rich is Kirill Shamalov?
He served as the Russian government’s previous economic counselor. Nikolai Shamalov, a co-owner of Rossiya Bank and a close Putin confidante, is his father. Shamalov was promised a slew of lucrative and privileged commercial deals totaling billions of dollars after marrying Putin’s daughter in 2013. At the age of 32, he surpassed Vladimir Putin as Russia’s youngest billionaire. Shamalov works for Sibur, a Russian petrochemicals firm, as a director and part-owner. Shamalov’s share in the corporation is worth $2 billion, according to reports. The price of the stake and the circumstances surrounding its acquisition are unknown. He bought a 3.8 percent share in the company (worth $388 million) for $100 shortly after marrying Putin’s daughter. He was sanctioned by the US in 2018. Shamalov was sanctioned by the United Kingdom after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
The estimated Net Worth of Kirill Shamalov is between $2 Billion to $3 Billion USD.
