Tony Dokoupil is an American CBS Broadcaster and Author who is popular from his book titled ‘The Last Pirate: A Father, his son, and the Golden Age of Marijuana’. Tony is currently married to Katy Tur (NBC host) and moreover, she is pregnant. The couples are expecting their baby in April 2019 and Tony is very happy about it.

Tony Dokoupil Career
Tony initially started his career by working as a journalist in NBC News in 2013 for over three years and he gained a good experience in the industry. Later she decided to move to MSNBC as a reporter and within a short period of time, he was promoted as the lead reporter in the network. Dokoupil used to cover stories like Paris Climate Change Agreement, Presidential Primaries, Flint Water Crisis and more.

Tony Dokoupil was born on December 24, 1980, in Miami, United States of America. When he was six years old, his father Anthony Dokoupil disappeared from his life. His father was known as ‘Big Tony’ and was involved in bringing Colombian marijuana to the US.
Tony later found out that his father was involved in drug trafficking and he spent more of his young age in the search of his father. He also wrote a book which detailed his father’s story.
The Author completed his schooling from The George Washington University School of Business and he earned his graduation in marketing and communications. In 2004, he attended Columbia University, and meanwhile he was also working as a staff writer for Periscope section of ‘Newsweek Magazine’. Finally, he was graduated with a Master’s degree in 2005.
