Marcelino Olguin is the foster dad for five Turpin siblings, now accused of abuse and molestation. Foster’s father, who also abused other children in his care, allegedly molested two of the Turpin siblings over 50 times.
Who is Marcelino Olguin?
Marcelino Olguin, 63, of Perris, is accused of victimizing two of the 13 Turpin siblings who fled their parents’ home in 2018. In addition, he is charged with seven charges of juvenile debauchery and lust.
The Turpin children’s lives have not been easy, as we’ve previously discussed. Jordan, the eldest child, has subsequently become a TikTok celebrity. Her celebrity has helped her younger siblings, many of whom are still in foster care.
The siblings may have felt their suffering was finally over after being rescued from the Turpin ‘home of horrors.’ However, a surprising revelation on March 31, 2022, reveals that this was not the case for two youngsters, Marcelino Olguin and Rosa of Perris, California, who were entrusted in their care.
Olguin’s 58-year-old wife, Rosa, and his 37-year-old daughter, Lennys, are also charged with witness intimidation and fraud. According to charging documents obtained by the source, Marcelino inappropriately touched two of the girls, one of whom was under 14, more than 50 times on their upper thighs and buttocks.
According to an affidavit, the foster father also forcibly kissed the victims, told them they were “sexy,” and advised them not to wear undershirts.
How Jordan Turpin Rescued her Siblings?
Jordan Turpin, a TikTok star with over 628,000 followers, became a TikTok celebrity. Her celebrity status has allowed her to campaign for her younger siblings, many of whom are still in foster care. Unfortunately, they do not receive the attention and love that they deserve. In November 2021, it was revealed that child services had failed to provide the children with a safe place to sleep or even food, forcing them to couch surf.
The Olguins had nine foster children and threatened five of the Turpin siblings to never see their older sisters and brothers again unless they cooperated with the abuse. Based on court documents filed against Marcelino and Rosa, the Daily Mail uncovered the tale of the abuse. In April 2018, the two were given charge of five Turpin siblings and the four other children already in their care, and they live within minutes from the Turpins’ home.
If Marcelino is found guilty, he will be sentenced to prison. The whereabouts of the children in their care are unknown. It’s also unclear whether the Olguin’s will be a part of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors’ independent probe.
